Roost and Grass Valley Brewing Company are co-hosting a six-course winter beer and food pairing dinner. Each small course is carefully matched with an appropriate craft beer to accentuate and compliment the flavors and qualities of both brew and food.
“We are very excited to return to a format which we loved at Jernigan’s Tap House and Grill. We enjoy challenging our chefs to bring their most creative dishes to the table and to be able to match them to fresh, brewed in-house Grass Valley Brewing beer is a real treat. We strive to make each of these events really memorable.” comments Sean Cox, Roost proprietor.
Roost Chefs Jessie Henshaw and Kevin Soares have been collaborating with Brewmaster Mike Sutherland to get just the right taste combinations. If you’ve never been to beer and food pairing, this is a great opportunity to explore different freshly crafted beer with the food specifically designed to enhance, not to mention the great fun to be had at a private event where everyone is focused on fresh beer and gourmet food.
Catch Jernigan’s and Roost GV proprietor Sean Cox on the KVMR’s The Beer Show broadcast Tuesday, January 8 at noon on 89.5 FM with host ‘MaltMan’ Dalldorf Tom Dalldorf, editor and publisher of Celebrator Beer News.
