The Children’s Festival is a one-day Renaissance Faire for children of all ages. It will be held in Pioneer Park on Friday, July 27th. This year’s festival will include over twenty arts and crafts tables, strolling minstrels, face-painters, a bridge-guarding troll, juggling, catapults, chess, medieval fencing, Queen Elizabeth, Pepper the Witch, Pyrate Skool, and Claude – the life-sized mechanical dragon. Children of all ages are welcome and costumes are encouraged!
There are two sessions: from 9am – noon and from 5pm – 8pm and there is a $3 charge per session. Refreshments will be available for purchase. There will be re-usable totebags available for a suggested donation of $1, or you can bring your own bag to take home all of the wonderful things you will make at the festival. The Children’s Festival is supported by The Center for the Arts.
