Store windows are decorated in the Victorian mode and natural green swags adorn the gas lights, just as was done years ago.

Grass Valley/Nevada City Christmas cards by LeeAnn Brook and Loana Beeson are available in the Chamber office. Local cards add a personal touch to your special holiday message.

Gift items representing the local area also in the Chamber office include Nevada City sweatshirts, t-shirts, coffee mugs, latte cups, magnets, local history books, and geodes and tea lights depicting gold miners. And for those in the holiday spirit there are shot glasses and cordials in various shapes and colors with a “Nevada City” signature.

Other items available for the Victorian Christmas collection are two sided pewter ornaments depicting Victorian carolers underneath a gaslight and a gold panner. The ornaments are engraved “Nevada City”. These quality ornaments sell for $10 each and will make a great present for anyone who wants a remembrance of Nevada City’s old fashioned Christmas celebration.
