Nevada City is getting ready for the 50th annual Nevada City Bicycle Classic race – to be held on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 20th starting at 1:00 p.m.
A premier cycling event that was won by Lance Armstrong last year, the classic is also a Lance Armstrong Junior Olympic Race Series (LAJORS) event and will attract top national riders, both pro and junior.
Races will start at 1:00 p.m. with the junior race. The Men’s Pro race is expected to start at 5 p.m. and go for about an hour and half.
