Sierra FoodWineArt magazine is circulating its fall issue, promoting Nevada City, Grass Valley and Nevada County — in a free, full-color glossy magazine and comprehensive digital edition that reaches Bay Area, Sacramento and Reno readers.
With a theme “Our Sierra Stages,” the magazine features the $4 million KVMR-Nevada Theatre project, offers an exclusive”sneak peek” at $3.8 million in upgrades planned for The Center for the Arts, as well as the value of the new Cultural District designation for our area. Rural towns, it notes, are the “new frontier” for the arts.
Other articles include the booming craft beer market (including Three Forks and ‘ol Republic breweries, and Matteo’s and Jernigan’s); wine tasting (Szabo’s attractive tasting room on Broad Street); our favorite fall dishes (including cajun food at Ike’s); our “favorite things” (Treat’s ice cream and the Railroad Museum’s Christmas gathering); the release of Nevada City Winery’s new premium wines; and Victorian Christmas and the Winter Craft Fair.
Sierra FoodWineArt is distributed all the way to the Bay Area, Sacramento, Reno, Truckee-Tahoe, Chico and Placerville and points in between. It has the most comprehensive digital edition among our region’s magazines, including a “scrollable” format for smartphone users. Owners Jeff and Shannon Pelline are Chamber members and Nevada City residents. For more information, email info@SierraFoodWineArt.com.
