Railbus Rides at the Railroad Museum

Ride the completely restored historic Railbus 97 from the Nevada County Narrow Gauge Railroad (NCNGRR) Museum, through the Inn Town Campground, to the Northern Queen Inn and returning to the museum, paralleling a portion of the railroad’s original route.  The scheduled 35 minute Railbus rides are offered on Saturdays through October and are available for special tours.

The Railbus departure timetable for boarding from either the NCNGRR Museum or The Northern Queen Inn is available at the museum’s website: www.ncngrrmuseum.org.  Docent-led tours that highlight the historical significance of the Narrow Gauge Railroad to Nevada County are offered Fridays through Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. through October 31.

Come to the museum or the Northern Queen Inn to reserve your seat on the Railbus!  There is no charge to ride or visit the museum.  However, the museum and Railbus can only operate with the financial support of the passengers.  Please consider a donation when you reserve your trip.
