January 26th through February 24th
Off Broadstreet owner Jan Kopp returns to the stage to reprise one of her signature roles as the ever-hopeful would-be singer Holly Miller. A favorite with Off Broadstreet audiences since its debut in 1997, Who The Hell Is Holly Miller? chronicles the rise of an unknown singing sensation from anonymity to obscurity. The action takes place during a concert tour stop in out-of-the-way Pinedale, Wyoming, where Holly and her band entertain the locals with their assortment of songs. During the performance, there are flashbacks and interview sequences that tell the story of how the small town girl with big dreams got to this memorable night.
Who The Hell Is Holly Miller? stars OBS owner Jan Kopp as the title character and features the musical talents of OBS favorites Jim Thornton, Darryl Stines, Andrew Kerr, Kelly Nevius, and phenomenal local keyboardist Katie Baker. All of the music is performed to live accompaniment and features hit songs from the 1950’s through the 1990’s. Holly’s distinctively outlandish costumes are designed and created by Jan Kopp and Libby Bonomolo.
Who The Hell Is Holly Miller? has plenty of laughs and great music and is suitable for all ages. Songs include Shake, Rattle & Roll, Mountain Music, Old Black Water, Proud Mary, It Ain’t Easy Bein’ Easy, Billy Jean, Unchained Melody, You Don’t Know Love, I’m So Excited plus two dozen more memorable hits.
