The newly updated Nevada City Tree Tour map is now available online. Check it out by visiting the Nevada City Chamber website, (you’ll find it under ‘Maps’), or if you’d like, come by the Chamber of Commerce office and pick-up a few of the postcards, which include a scannable QR code, which makes it quick and easy to find and use the map on a smartphone. The newly updated map also includes a link to Google Earth and a downloadable PDF, which can be printed or used as a guide on a tablet or smartphone.
Thank you sponsors! The production of the Nevada City Tree Tour has been supported by California ReLeaf, Pacific Gas & Electric, the Nevada City Chamber of Commerce, with the sponsorship of Acton Arboriculture, Inc., Byers LeafGuard, Gold Creek Inn B&B, Three Forks Bakery & Brewing Co., and GoFundMe.com donations.
What’s next? Each point on the Tree Tour map could use numbers to for easy route planning, and we would also like to reach out a more of the community, letting them know about the map, so we need just a bit more of a boost to get there. Six website sponsors are now available. This means your business could have its logo and name included in the Tree Tour Map page on the Nevada City Chamber website for at least 24 months for just $100. Donations can still be made to the Nevada City Tree Tour CrowdFund account at www.gofundme.com/NCC-tree-tour
