Mountain Valley offers a residential treatment program, mental health services and special education campus for children ages 12-18 and Non-Minor dependent youth ages 18-20. Our main campus is located about 10 miles outside Nevada City on over 900 acres of land. Children come for education and treatment from all over the state of California and are placed by school districts, social workers and their families.

Every year, the Nevada County Concert Band (NCCBand) brings back to life an era in American history when the local Sunday Band Concert was a grand social occasion. Exhibits share the history and geology of the Alleghany Mining District, home of the still active Sixteen to One Mine.
