Funeral Services

The Nevada Cemetery District is an independent special district responsible for the operation, improvement, and expansion of public cemeteries in Western Nevada County. We service 18 active public cemeteries since 1942. The Nevada Cemetery District also maintains 9 historical inactive cemeteries that stretch from Lake of the Pines on Highway 49 to just east of Smartsville on Highway 20, to the Boreal Ridge on Highway 80 covering 600 square mile.
