Established in 1995, the California College of Ayurveda is the oldest, State-approved college in the West offering Ayurvedic Medicine training. Our Ayurveda school also offers a variety of shorter length workshops and seminars for Yoga Teachers, Massage Therapists, and the general public. In addition, our healthcare clinic provides health consultations, ayurvedic spa therapies, and panchakarma.

Mountain Valley offers a residential treatment program, mental health services and special education campus for children ages 12-18 and Non-Minor dependent youth ages 18-20. Our main campus is located about 10 miles outside Nevada City on over 900 acres of land. Children come for education and treatment from all over the state of California and are placed by school districts, social workers and their families.

The Uba-Seo Gallery, located at 225 Broad Street provides an opportunity to learn about the history of the Nisenan Rancheria, on which the land of Nevada City now sits.
