Please join our gathering Wednesday, November 14th. Social hour begins at 6:00 pm followed by a potluck dinner at 6:15. Everyone is asked to bring an appetizer, entrée, or dessert for 8 to 10, your tableware, and beverage of your choice. Water, coffee and tea will be available.
This month we are pleased to welcome the popular Three Times Through. The group plays tradition-based music of Ireland, Scotland and America. Instruments include hammered dulcimer, harp, fiddle, mandolin, concertina, bouzouki, banjo, bodhran, and guitar. The emphasis is on eclectic Celtic music, spirited instrumentals, engaging vocals and haunting melodies.

Don’t miss the annual Kirkin’ of the Tartan Sunday, November 18th at Trinity Church in Nevada City. This beautiful ceremony begins at 4:00 p.m. with traditional bagpipes and presentation of the seven Celtic nations’ flags, followed by a short service and blessing of the tartan. There will be light refreshments afterwards.
