We are home to NCTV, Nevada Counties local community public access television station, cablecasting to western Nevada County, parts of Truckee and webstreaming live to the world.
The Nevada City Advocate is a local, woman-owned monthly community newspaper. The printed version of the Nevada City Advocate is distributed in Western Nevada County, Auburn, Sacramento, Roseville, Marysville and Yuba City. We distribute 8,000 papers per month and estimate at least 16,000 readers per month. The Nevada City Advocate has been in continuous print since July, 3, 2009.

Parents' Resource Guide is a family oriented publication that's been in the community for over 20-years. It is a quarterly magazine for parents and grandparents with a distribution of 10,000 issues, including 5,000 that are direct mailed, throughout Nevada County and the greater Auburn area. Free ad design services plus a 75-word write-up are available with each ad. In addition, we publish submitted articles of 300-500 words at no charge.
