The Farmers Market is located on Union Street between Commercial and Broad Streets in downtown Nevada City. It operates every Saturday from Father's Day weekend until Thanksgiving from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. There is a wide variety of locally and sustainably raised products along with food, beverages, arts and crafts. Enjoy the local music scene in the Plaza.

Wheyward Girl Creamery is a small full service, cut to wrap cheese shop. We carry regional, domestic and imported cheeses, and hope to be producing our own cheese in the near future. Barbara Jenness is the owner/proprietor and master cheesemaker. Barbara earned her credentials at the Vermont Institute of Artisan Cheese. She has taught cheesemaking at many facilities and currently co-teaches the Artisan Cheese Workshop at Michigan State University each year.
