“Anthropocene: The Human Epoch” at the Nevada Theatre – Sunday, November 10th, 2019

On Sunday, November 10th, Sierra Cinemas/Nevada Theatre Film Series presents “Anthropocene: The Human Epoch” at 7pm at the Nevada Theatre.

A cinematic meditation on humanity’s massive re-engineering of the planet, “Anthropocene: The Human Epoch” is a feature documentary film from the multiple-award winning team of Jennifer Baichwal, Nicholas de Pencier, and Edward Burtynsky that was four years in the making. It is narrated by Alicia Vikander.

“To say that there are no easy answers to planetary woes is to state the obvious. But the film seeks to reveal rather than lecture, in the hope that our eyes will convince our brains to act before it’s too late.” Peter Howell, Toronto Star

“It is important to remind people – again and again and again – that we can’t continue to treat the planet like this. Boyd van Hoeij, Hollywood Reporter

The film is being shown at 7pm (with doors opening at 6:30) and admission is $8. For more information, to view the trailer, or to purchase advance tickets, visit www.sierratheaters.com
