Astronaut Garrett Reisman named grand marshal of the 42nd Annual Nevada City Constitution Day Parade

Astronaut Garrett Reisman will be a grand marshal of the 42nd Annual Nevada City Constitution Day Parade at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 14. Reisman, a NASA flight engineer, spent three months aboard the International Space Station earlier this year, including seven hours of extra vehicular activities during one spacewalk. The astronaut will offer two public presentations during his visit, at 7 p.m. on Sept. 12, and 2 p.m. Sept. 13, both at the Grass Valley Veterans Building.
