Event to Benefit Hidden Church Sept 22
The historical church in Alleghany is part of both Sierra and Nevada County’s heritage! It was originally built in Nevada County. To learn more visit the history page at www.hiddenchurch.info. With a population of only 50 people and most of them low income Alleghany lacks the resources to preserve this treasure! They’re asking for your support by attending this event:

Autumn Equinox Harvest Lunch & Concert
September 22nd at the Hidden Church in Alleghany

Participants will be treated to a private sit-down lunch outside under a canopy. Lunch will be freshly prepared by Chef Caree Loving using regional produce from You Bet Farm & feature regional beer and wine. The main dish will consist of roasted pumpkin tamales with a white bean, green chile and roasted red pepper filling topped with roasted corn salsa, a large salad, and a fabulous dessert made with seasonal fruit.
After lunch the concert will be held inside the historical church where the acoustics are great!
This is a very small venue ~ tickets are limited – Price $50 per person
All proceeds benefit the preservation of the historical church building.
