Empty Bowl Supper Feb 25th

Join Hospitality House Saturday, February 25th for the 6th annual Empty Bowl Supper at Peace Lutheran Church. The Empty Bowl Supper is an opportunity to gather and rally support for the many wonderful programs that Hospitality House has to offer; including funding shelter supplies, transportation to overnight faith community facilities and case management.

The “Empty Bowl” Supper will be served from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Saturday, February 25th at Peace Lutheran Church, 828 West Main Street, Grass Valley. Tickets are $20 and can be purchased at BriarPatch Co-op, The Book Seller, Grass Valley Chamber of Commerce, Nevada City Chamber of Commerce, online at www.HospitalityHouseShelter.org, or at the door. Children under 12 will be served for free.

A $20 ticket includes a ceramic bowl, handmade with loving care by the guests of Hospitality House and donations from local potters organized by Karin Givon, soups, bread and coffee from our finest area restaurants including Bear River Pasta Co., Christopher’s Catering, Cirino’s Main St., Jim E’s Catering, National Hotel, Old Town Café, Paulette’s Country Kitchen, Penny’s Diner, Sergio’s, Tuscany Gardens, Dupre’s Bakery, Summer Thyme’s Bakery, Valentina’s, Breadnik, Caroline’s Coffee, Sierra Mtn. Coffee Roasters, Gold Country Dist., Raley’s, Safeway, SavMart, SPD, Thrivent Financial “For Lutherans” entertainment by Vadi, Sandra and Joe Hammel on Piano, Heather MacAdam guitar/vocals, Flute Quartet: Kirsti Powerll, Robin Nichols, Dave Riddles, Nora Nausbaum, Foothill Chamber Winds: Kirsti Powell (flute), Henry Hansen (clarinet), Murray Campbell (oboe), Cameron Kopf (horn), Dave Riddles (bassoon). Bread, desserts, coffee and milk will also be served.
