The Tommyknocker Cloggers are performing on Sunday the 18th too!
We had a wonderful time in Nevada City on Victorian Christmas Sunday. We stayed at the Broadstreet Inn. Nevada City is the prettiest historic town I’ve visited, and I’ve been to many throughout California and as far as New England. I plan to make the Victorian Christmas weekend a yearly Christmas event for us. In one evening, we had a terrific time shopping, listening to the amazing Victorian musicians, eating out for dinner, having a beer at a local pub while listening to an awesome live Jazz band, and before we headed back to our Inn for the night, we took a walk around Broadstreet at night looking at all the beautiful and decorated Historic Victorians. We ended our weekend the next morning having a fantastic pancake and omelette breakfast at the local diner, and finally finishing up with a mocha at the coffee shop Cafe Mekka before we left. We got back to Sacramento, went back to work the next day and I have to say I thought about Nevada City for the next few days, that’s how memorable that town was for me. It was truly an enchanting weekend. Nevada City is beautiful, and it’s like stepping back in time to a far more relaxed way of life. We will definitely be back!
