This holiday season, local estate liquidator Heidi Levell will kick off her downtown Nevada City auction house full of unique and hard to find vintage and antique collectibles, promising to attract a broad spectrum of buyers from around the globe and give a much needed boost to the local economy.

Barn Owl Auctions announces its first live auction and preview party December 2 and 3 at the beautiful historic Miner’s Foundry. A not-to-be missed event, the live auction will include a different item every 30 seconds, fun mystery surprises every hour, gourmet food and entertainment. Adding to the excitement, bidders from around the world can tune in using the latest technology as they participate via an online auction.

“From Original 19th Century Oil Paintings to Antique Toys to Mid Century Danish Modern Teak Furniture, this is going to be an all day celebration of truly unique items, much more fun than a traditional dusty auction,” said Licensed Auctioneer Heidi LeVell.

LeVell has 17 years of antiques, auction, liquidation and online expertise, is a successful entrepreneur and is now bringing this knowledge to the world of offline auctions. Joining her is British born and licensed auctioneer John Kay, also a local resident.

A portion of the auction proceeds will benefit Hospice, a local charitable nonprofit organization that helps the terminally ill and their families.
