Make it Local, Make it Unique

LeeAnn Brook of Brook Design Group in Nevada City has just released her latest greeting cards for the upcoming holidays that include Thanksgiving, Christmas and peace related themes. Fall colors ablaze on local streets, a snow covered Banner Mountain, a Victorian gardener’s shed blanketed in snow, charming gold rush houses lit up with sparkling lights, or a peaceful forest at Hirschman’s Pond are some of the cards that feature Brook’s photography of local scenes.

Coupled with heartfelt quotes that complement the images, her popular Yuba River greeting cards started the line in 2003. The business has now grown to selling in over 10 retail outlets and are also offered online at www.brookdesign.com/greeting-cards. Running a close second to the Yuba River cards, are cards that feature Brook’s colorful contemporary landscape paintings. And of course, the most popular time of the year for the cards is the upcoming holiday season.
