To Our Members :  What will $110 buy you?

If any of you have spent money on advertising or promotional materials recently, then you know it’s tough to stretch those dollars! Print ads are super cool (if the circulation is good) because they may have a long “shelf” life. Radio ads are wonderful because of the ability to tell a story with enthusiasm. Yellow page ads are effective if you don’t need to tell a story and if your service is a ‘look it up’ kind of service. All these mediums have a place, but believe me, $110 won’t buy you much. Further more, you will only get to speak to someone if they answer your ad!

If you are looking to meet local residents face-to-face and hope to get their contact information to begin to develop a relationship with them so when they ARE looking for your service or product, they will call YOU first, then our Chamber Business Showcase is the place for you! For $110, you will be given a table to display your products and brochures as well as the opportunity to gather leads for an entire evening. Furthermore, you can invite your existing customers to the event for a chance to win prizes and meet other business contacts.

These events are hosted jointly by local venues and by the Grass Valley and Nevada City Chambers of Commerce and are fully organized by volunteers (other business owners helping you promote your business!). Our last event of this kind will be on Thursday, November 10th from 5:00 – 7:30 at Quail Ridge Senior Living. We still have a few tables left – but time is running out!
