Grand Opening of the Hirschman Trail – Cement Hill ADA Accessible Trailhead

Join master trail builder, Bill Haire, and his crew as they lead us along the newest Land Trust community trail – the Cement Hill ADA accessible trailhead that leads to Hirschman Pond. Find out what it takes to tame and build a trail through the wilderness!
The first leg of the trek will be to the pond – about a quarter-mile down the trail, where we will see evidence of hydraulic mining. For those that wish to continue on we will then hike about a five mile loop along the portion of the trail that was completed last Fall.
This trail was created in partnership with Nevada City – and we’re pretty proud of it!
