A Taste of the Gold
With the return of autumn and the Draft Horse Classic comes an afternoon of elegance & indulgence with A Taste of the Gold. On Saturday, September 24th from 1:00 to 4:00 PM, the Grass Valley Downtown Association in conjunction with Sierra Vintners’ Association bring you A Taste of the Gold at the Nevada County Fairgrounds with the Draft Horse Classic and the Harvest Festival.
Savor local cuisine from over 25 restaurants, caterers and confectioners including Diego’s, Tofanelli’s, Kane’s, Maria’s, Jim E’s Club 141, Bear River Pasta and a whole lot more! Pair each tasting with exquisite wines, distinctive to those of Sierra Vintners- with Bob Mora and the 3rd Degree Blues Band to set the mood.
Tickets are $30 in advance and can be purchased at the Bookseller, downtown tasting rooms, historicgrassvalley.com or the Downtown Association office (530) 272-8315. Tickets can also be purchased the day of the event, but will cost $10 more, so get your tickets early! Tickets include unlimited wine, five food tickets, and a commemorative wine glass. Additional food tickets may be purchased during the event at two for $5. Parking at the Nevada County Fairgrounds is $5. Please enter at Gate 5.
