Letters Needed To Assure Downtown Courthouse Location
At a recent meeting with the AOC, they explained the necessary steps for the scope change approval process. The scope change I am referring to is the change from purchasing new property to build a courthouse upon to providing temporary housing of the courthouse while rebuilding the courthouse in its approximate existing location. Letters of support will be very beneficial to this process. If you support this change, please send your letters in now. The suggested length for these letters is one page. Letters on individual or company letterhead signed by one person will be more persuasive than petition-style letters signed by multiple persons.
Please address your letters to:
Mr. William C. Vickrey
Administrative Director of the Courts
Administrative Office of the Courts
455 Golden Gate Avenue
San Francisco, CA 94102-3688
DO NOT MAIL THE LETTERS TO MR. VICKREY. SEND THEM TO MR. MENARD AS DIRECTED BELOW.
Please scan your completed letters and send them to him via e-mail or send them via regular mail. Both addresses are shown below. Call him if you need more information before you write your letters. It would be helpful for them to know who will be writing letters of support. Please e-mail him right away with your commitment. Please forward this e-mail on to others who may want to write a letter of support. They would like to receive the completed letters by Monday June 6th.
