Rescuers caution river recreationalists: Take care

The Union had a great article today about river safety.

Rescuers are hoping to not use their training over Memorial Day weekend, one that is traditionally “notorious” for river rescues.  With water flows reaching 2,500 cubic feet per second (cfs) near the Highway 49 bridge this week, according to DreamFlows.com, rescue officials are asking the public to stay out of the Yuba over the Memorial Day holiday weekend.
