NC Gold Raises Money for Chamber

IMS, publishers of Nevada County Gold Magazine, recently presented a check for $2999.47 to the Nevada City Chamber of Commerce. This amount represents the commission generated on advertising sales in the 2010-11 Nevada County Gold Magazine.

Nevada County Gold and its online companion, NevadaCountyGold.com, have been designated by the Nevada County Regional Chambers of Commerce as the “Official Guides to Nevada County.” Both provide valuable information about Nevada County, including a yearly calendar of events, maps, a dining guide, and information about recreation, real estate and lodging.

Celebrating 25 years of publication, “The Gold” has raised more than $180,000 for the Nevada County Regional Chambers of Commerce.

With a yearly distribution of 80,000, Nevada County Gold is a free publication that is available at more than 500 Nevada County locations. Additionally, The Gold is featured at the Old Sacramento Visitor Center, San Francisco Visitors & Convention Center, throughout the Bay Area, Truckee Visitor Center, Reno, Sierra County, Auburn, and Lake Tahoe.
