Road Biking

Nevada City is host to the second oldest professional road race in the United States. For years top elite professional racers such as Greg LeMond, Lance Armstrong and others migrate to attack the difficult down town course on Father's Day weekend.

The roads throughout Nevada and Sierra counties have become popular for recreational road riders and bicycle tourists of all levels and include the popular "Burn-of-the-Century" road ride the Saturday before the Nevada City Classic Pro race.
